Hoshizaki America, a leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment, is seeking a Sales Manager for our Hoshizaki Northeastern Distribution Center, Long Island NY.

Reporting to DCVP, the qualified candidate will supervise the day-to-day functions of the branch including customer service functions and inventory control; supervise sales staff providing leadership and direction along company guidelines; and supervise working out of the branch coupled with working assigned sales territory, both wholesale and direct activities.

Other responsibilities include achieving branch sales and profit goals; building and growing direct sales side of business; establishing and growing Penguin Service and working with sales staff in their wholesale and retail sales efforts. You will also be expected to submit sales and activity reports as necessary to DCVP; and submit paperwork for maintaining the DC’s business i.e. check requests, purchase requisitions, concessions, RINGI forms, etc.

The qualified candidate will have sales experience preferably in food service or food service equipment; management experience (preferred 5+ yrs sales & management experience); working knowledge of MS Word and Excel; positive attitude; adaptable and dynamic; and a proven track record of achieving sales objectives. College degree (4yrs) preferred.
